The Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan will be submitted to the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Oregon Department Emergency Management for approval. If approved, it will be sent to the Board of County Commissioners for adoption. Upon adoption we will implement the plan into our operations.
The Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan is a living document that is maintained and revised as the assessment of risks changes. The Federal Emergency Management Agency requires us to update the plan every five years. Public feedback will help shape future drafts of the plan.
